Norton Commons Residential Village Association (NCRVA) –- The NCRVA is the name for the community’s HOA. It is staffed with a full-time community manager (Dillon Tilley) and part-time support staff. The association also has a 7-member Board of Directors that includes 2 developers, 3 developer-appointed members, and 2 resident-elected representatives. The office phone number is 502-208-4005 and the email address is [email protected]. Please do not hesitate to contact the office as needed.
A Deed Restricted Community -- Norton Commons is governed by the Master Deed along with the Declarations of Charter, Easements, Covenants and Restrictions and their Amendments. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with these documents to understand what you have agreed to when you purchased your home. To view the documents, visit the Resident Website, or you can email the office at [email protected].
Resident Website –- The Norton Commons resident website can be found at www.nortoncommonshoa.com. We encourage you to sign up for a user name and password to keep informed of what is going on in your community and to access relevant information. The site can answer most of your questions about the community and is updated regularly.
Gaining Access to the Pools –- There are three pools for use by Norton Commons residents and their guests. Owners must register their household each year. To register your household, you must submit a Pool Registration Form which can be found on the resident website, or you can contact the NCRVA office. The Pool Policy can be found on the website.
NCRVA Dues -- Annual invoices are sent out the last week of December every year and are always due by January 31 each year. Please note, late fees are assessed if not paid on time! Many townhomes and condos have additional fees that are billed separately by the condo or townhome management company. The dues provide financial support for waste collection, community beautification and clean up, pool maintenance and upkeep, street lights, irrigation, security, and professional management and accounting of the NCRVA office.
Street Cleaning -- Street cleaning occurs every Sunday morning in construction areas only. The purpose of the cleaning is to remove debris such as nails, wood chips, glass, etc from the streets since the community is still under construction. It does kick up some dust but removal of street debris is necessary. Please do your best to avoid parking on the street late Saturday evening or early Sunday morning. Thank you for your patience.
Mailboxes -- If you have issues with your South Village mailbox and you need to replace or repair it, please contact Eagle Sign & Design at 502.561.0007. If you live in the North Village and you have an issue with your lock, please contact locksmith Willis Klein 502.893.0441.
Irrigation –- Many verge strips (the area between the sidewalk and street) throughout Norton Commons have irrigation, but not all. During the hot summer months, the trees in the verge strips need a little extra help. If you are watering your front lawn and can help with the trees in front of your home, it is greatly appreciated!
Pets -- Norton Commons has an abundance of furry friends and is known to be a very pet-friendly community which adds to the appeal of our neighborhood. There are local ordinances that require pet owners to pick up their pet’s waste and to keep their pets on a leash. Many pet waste stations can be found throughout the community. Please be a responsible pet owner and properly dispose of your pet’s waste in the receptacles provided. Animal-related issues can be directed to Metro Animal Services at 502.473-7387. For a quick FAQ on Metro Louisville’s Animal Ordinances, please visit: Metro Animal License
Exterior Alterations –- All modifications made to the exterior of your home must be approved by the Design Review Board. The Exterior Alterations form is included in this packet and is also available upon request, [email protected]. To avoid compliance-related issues and possible expenses, we encourage you to get all exterior projects approved before you begin!
Any questions regarding the community can usually be answered on the resident website. However, the NCRVA office is here to assist you anytime.
